LCSD welcomes four new district level employees

Four Lee County School District (LCSD) school level-employees have accepted new assignments for the upcoming year at the LCSD’s Main Office.

Dr. Veronica Bradley, former Instructional Coach at Lower Lee Elementary School (LLE), is the new principal at West Lee Elementary School (WLE). Tonette Jones, former Instructional Technology Specialist at Lee Central High School (LCHS), is LCSD’s Instructional Technology Coach. Warren Joye, former Assistant Principal at Lee Central Middle School (LCMS), is now the Coordinator of Special Services for LCSD.A former kindergarten teacher in the district, DeJarius White returns to serve as the district's Gifted and Talented Coordinator as well as an Instructional Coach at WLE.

Bradley recently earned the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., where she also earned the Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She earned the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Middle Level Education with an emphasis in English and math from the University of South Carolina (USC-Columbia, S.C.). Bradley earned the Master of Science (M.S.) in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading from Concordia University in Portland, Ore. She fills a vacancy left by former WLE principal Damon Officer.

Jones earned the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education from South Carolina State University (SCSU) in Orangeburg, S.C.; the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; the M.S. in Library and Information Science from USC-Columbia, S.C.; and the Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education Administration from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C.

Joye earned the B.S. in Criminal Justice from USC-Columbia, S.C.; the M.S. in Management in Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, Colo.; and the Ed.S. in School Administration from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Mass.

White received his B.S. in Early Childhood Education from SCSU and the M.A. in Executive Leadership Studies from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C.
