Lee County School District’s (LCSD) Title I Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is hosting its next meeting on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 at the LCSD Main Office at 310 Roland Street in Bishopville, S.C.
The meeting will convene at 5:30 p.m. and the entire community is invited. This is the group’s monthly meeting where parents and community members convene to discuss their shared responsibility for empowering the next generation. Attendees will hear the results of January’s Strategic Planning Session at this meeting and craft a vision statement for the look ahead.
LCSD Superintendent Dr. Wanda Andrews says her desire to know and address the concerns of this community is nothing new. What is new is the district’s approach to hearing and giving voice to those matters, she says. Last month’s strategic planning session was largely successful, and Andrews is already putting processes and programs in place to effect lasting change in the areas that matter most to parents and the community at large.
Andrews hopes this meeting will result in a movement to revolutionize the efforts of the PAC. The community is asked to lend its support. For additional information about the event or to partner with the PAC in hosting this event, please contact LCSD Office at 843.484.5327.
