Lee County Adult Ed. hosts registration drives

The Darlington-Lee Adult Education Center (DLCAE) is hosting a series of registration drives for the day and night programs, designed to prepare students for the High School Equivalence Certificate (GED), Career Readiness Preparation & Testing/Certification (WIN) or to earn credits toward a High School Diploma. These classes are at no cost for qualified students.

The dates are in a 3-day series and are as follows: September 17-19; October 22-24; November 19-21; January 7-9, 2020; February 4-6, 2020; March 3-5, 2020; and March 31-April 2, 2020. Individuals must attend all 3 days of the registration to be eligible for participation. Be prepared to remain at the site from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. each day.

Registration is valid for one academic year, covering classes, books, computer software access and other materials needed to assured student success.

Classes are offered in a variety of formats for students ages 17 and older during daytime and evening hours. Free childcare, transportation, breakfast and lunch are available at select locations. WIN testing, the ParaPro Assessment, the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), and GED testing are available without appointment. You must register online beforehand.
